Tonight I discovered why I have always hated yellow lights. As most three-year-olds can tell you, red means "stop" and green means "go." Yellow, however, means, "Quick! Make a decision!" I hate decisions.
See, you avoided my dilemma by making your decision for all yellow-light situations in advance. My dad would agree with you, but he is a much better judge of distance and acceleration than I am. ; )
